Great speedrun trough them basses. I have just ordered MIJ Jazz Bass LTD Blue like you have played first in this video. I got it for 890$ here in Germany as there is a 40% Winter sale discount by Fender on selected products. Cant wait to try it out.
@@Peterkleemusicthanx bro, bass arrived and it is great. It is so resonant and slap machine, probably due to "one piece maple" neck just like on M. Miller Fender models. Also i went under the hood and found that pickups are the same part number like in Fender Traditional II '60s MIJ model, comes also with US CTS pots. Action is super low, neck is a dream, straight and super fast. Color is amazing.
That MIJ is awesome. I had the Jazz and only returned as the aged block inlays were very hard to spot and I’d get lost playing sometime. Ended up buying the same MIJ pbass in that blue and I love it.
You seemed to enjoy playing the Sadowsky MetroExpress. What are your thoughts 💭 on the updated Sadowsky MetroExpress? Great video & amazing playing as usual. 🙏🏽
Thank you first, I love it weight balance are improved. Neck feel, and the preamp sounds good, but missing VTC. It’s a great price point! I would buy it if I want a solid bass under $1000!
Sire V7 is number one best bass for the money !!❤️And it Stand upp good against more expensive models too !! It’s a game changer ! Thank’s for a very good test🙏
@@Peterkleemusic Thanks dude, appreciated! Might be nothing special, but I wish I could make the pentatonic sound like that. Maybe some time in the future you could do a vid on developing that dexterity and melodicism for us plebs? Anyways, great playing!
Hey dude! I was just at this GC a few hours ago with my wife, I played the MM sig bass & I noticed in the active preamp mode- the treble wasn’t working!!! I was gonna buy it but it wasn’t functioning at all. Did that happen for you too? I was quite sad since I’ve always wanted this bass but maybe it wasn’t meant (or maybe they can even lower the price from the tag?) Cheers man!
Very cool! For me the preamp both knobs were working, maybe they have to change the batteries?! I think a little bit overpriced 😂 if it was a Japanese made, make sense. I will re-visit soon!
@@Peterkleemusic not really same old stuff besides that new blu detiger signature jazz bass. Although it’s pretty much a player plus jazz with a double coil and pretty finish .
@@darwin_j I've owned at least 10 different Fodera basses over the years including 3 custom orders. Now, I own my Emperor 5. It's great always, but not must!
@@darwin_j It depends on what you want. Jazz, P-bass, Modern, Musicman types. almost every brand has that options. My taste is 60's Jazz bass. Then, if you can try out different brands, choose whatever you like. I would split $1000, $2000, high-end price range. In my opinion, more you spend, you get better craftmanship feeling and artistic on the instrument. I can play $500 bass and $5000 bass to the same gig, people won't notice any difference maybe, but for me! It's inspiring matter I guess. Fodera is one of my favorite brands for sure! Fodera with the single/dual coil pickup is the most versatile bass
Yup! Have to agree and I don’t have one music degree. :-) I do know sounds-well I do know a lot more than that but I regress. The so-called testing was annoying more than any thing else, in relation to the video. Plucky and pully. Not going to hear a lot of differences doing that, in, again, relation to the video. I came to hear the sound differences, even on my little phone. And of course, almost none of these new basses for sale are going to be set up, tweaked for individuals, and ready to play.
@@luvyesmusici4886 I agree with you, it's not proper setup. Every bass has the old string set. After you pick, your hands get dirty and stiff. I don't like to play personally there. However, just seeing different basses gives me some fun!
@@Peterkleemusic Fun is certainly important when you can find some. The older you get, the less fun you will find, unless you go intentionally looking for some. Thank God for JOY though, that’s on a whole nother level, it usually involves having a child. Personal satisfaction is a good/great thing, but doesn’t even come close. Good luck to you, good sir, in what ever the way the wind blows for you, and keep on rocking every single day. That’s what I do. I love a lot of bands, and it’s the bass that generally does it for me, and that is why ABBA has been my very favorite group on on fifty-three years now since age seven. Have you ever given them a proper listen?
Nice job fun!
Thanks for the visit! 🙏🙏😂 I’m glad you enjoyed
Nice playing. My ears liked the 60"s Precision & the Sadowsly ME

You can’t go wrong Yamaha basses. I love my BB404. Their quality is second to none.
Yes, my favorites were the Yamaha basses! I've owned Trb series and BBNE2 the top notch sounding!
That MIM Fender Marcus Miller is pretty amazing. I love that you played Detroit :)
Thank you🙏 that bass is the most favorite out of this video! The punch and preamp sound awesome 👍
On my way! To buy that bass lmao 😅🤫

I agree!! The sound is exactly Marcus, I couldn’t stop playing 👍😂
Yamaha BB234 affordable price, good materials, & versatile sound 👍👍👍
Totally agree with you!
How did you like the Mark Bass?? I played one the other day and the neck was fantastic. No fret buzz and great action. Sounded good too.
I think that one has the best ‘pluck’ feel. I like the coat on the fretboard! For me just body shape is too like a P bass 😂
Hey Peter, help a brother out :) That run you do from 12:30 - 12:38, what exactly is that? A lick, something based on a scale, some pattern? Thanks!
Hi brother! 🫡 Thank you for asking. It’s a E minor pentatonic scale. Nothing special!

IDK what a Vintera is supposed to be, but I liked the way it sounded.
Yeah! I kind of like the feel of the chunky neck! The sound and you wanna play like the vintage lol🙏👍
The EHB and Blu DeTiger were the ones I wanted to see
Thanks for the suggestion, I will go another day soon. Actually I did yesterday. I can make another store video!
What was happening with Fender Jazz Bass Player Plus? Was it about of the strings actions?
Thank you for show the variety of sounds and basses for us!
